LAS VEGAS - Craig Thompson anticipates the three-year calm of conference stability to give way to a storm of activity. As to how that might impact the Mountain West, the commissioner smiled and admitted he didn't have a clue. "What's going to happen?" Thompson said while in his annual address at Mountain West Media Days. "Nobody has any idea. "We're all playing this game." Boise State and Colorado State are considered candidates to join the Big 12, which may add as many as four teams.
